Veronica americana (Raf.) Benth.  American Speedwell.

Guy Gulch, Jefferson County, Colorado. Small forested gulch tributary to Guy Gulch, 282 m. southwest across County Road 70 from the Centennial Ranch house, 2.56 km. south of Mount Tom, 12.4 km. west northwest of the GNIS location of Golden. 39.7938°N, 105.3571°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 2382 m. Leaves petiolate, inflorescence of axillary racemes. Growing in water at bottom of gulch.
